Diferent populations?


correlation is all that links cancer and cigarette smoking in humans, which is true for most human health issues determined via epidemiology. We don;'t do controlled experiments in a lab forcing people to get zika or smoke until they get lung cancer, we look at rates in affected populations based on a independent variable and decide via statistics that the prevalence in those population differs significantly from the population in general.
